Tell me where the constitution specifies that Americans should have the right to walk the streets in broad daylight with a semi-automatic rifle?
It doesn't. At all. Anywhere. It's just some ridiculous construct imagined up by a bunch of nutters that want to arm every citizen to the teeth. And yet, here we are. Every person interprets the Constitution in their own special way, and Presidents tend to pick Justices according to those that align with their own views. Don't kid yourself into thinking that it's only the 'leftist' judges that like to stack the deck. They all do it.
