Wishing you all the best @peony-rose.

In the last few years there has been some amazing progress in the treatment of amyloidosis.

Three years after being diagnosed, I am now in remission. My treatment now consists of taking medication daily and a monthly visit to hospital for IVIG and Daratumumab.

I am able to do everything I was able to before being diagnosed, which is amazing.

In the last twelve months I have been on two overseas trips, something I thought impossible before.

Just a tip to get through this, read everything you can about the disease, get a good doctor that specialises in amyloidosis and do everything the specialists tell you.

Feel free to contact me through HC or X if you have any questions.

There are good groups on FB that offer good support and advice.
