Wall street is basically attempting to price in the uncertain events ahead. If OPEC freezes (unlikely given Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi, and Russian production is all up this month a combined 500kbpd +), oil might shoot to 50, if it doesn't oil will retrace to mid-low thirties. Wall street doesn't know what to do at the moment, so you're seeing any minor data point rocketing the price around.
I think STO holders are concerned about their high debt ratios when compared with nearly every other comparable company in the world.
