The very website you directed us to Miles, despite it's editing by, shall we say, unbiased Palestinian influences, clearly make a point that there was a strong Jewish historical presence in that area.
I do not wish to travel that route as it has been done to death, however are you able to explain how Sharon is expected to make peace with a leader of this so called Palestinian nation when Arafat is on public record having stated on numerous occasions that a Jewish Temple never existed in the region and that the historical perpectives as presented by Jews (and other non Jewish historians of note I might add) are nothing but a gigantic Zionist plot?
How does one make peace with a person who repudiates any or all claims that one might have, no matter how significant or otherwise?
