I think its fully understandable that when shareholders have been starved of any meaningful comms for so long that any news - even with multiple degrees of separation from anything material for Triton - is grabbed onto and foisted as something of significance.
You are correct though; the devil is in the dot-joining and almost all of my trading failures in the past have been made on the back of reaching assumptions.
After the past 6 months of tumbleweed I need to see those degrees of separation reduced before I throw my keys in the basket.
