there were 253 taken. we know that 3 were shot by IDF trying to surrender, one was rescued Oct 30, Hamas claimed that 60 were missing after air strikes around and on Al-Shifa hospital, 4 were released unilaterally early in the piece and a further 80 released in the 2 week ceasefire, along with 24 international workers who were hostage. this lot adds to 142 remaining with the uncertainty of the survival of at least 60 due to bombing. much more WIKI LINK

I think we can add the hostages to th4e list of people that the IDF don't give a damn about JC. heaven bless them and bring them home safe because the IDF don't seem to be doing much to retrieve these people.
