Exactly! Look at how KKR is pouncing now on Pacific Brands.....Billabong will be next. Pacific brands like billabong was majorly in the dog house on the same capital management concern issues during the last GFC....do you guys remember how it crashed to 13 cents in 2009 only to be back at 70 in two months? Look at its 3 year chart.....the same capital management debt issues excuse was used by short sellers to majorly push down its share price....and then when they did a new recapitalisation.....and those concerns were taken off the table.....it surged back up...
Big investors do not have concerns on the billabong business model.....they just have concerns on its current capital structure for this climate....Billabong can address these concerns by either selling an asset they have recently bought.....or doing a rights issue....
