An associated moment from a proud dad

You guys have shared so much with me and maybe without even knowing it, given me so many fulfilling tasks to study that I though I’d share this related proud moment.

My son is 21..doing really well.. uni student, cadet contracts admin, fruegal and has a girlfriend whose grandfather has enticed him into investing in stocks

Whilst I have a conservative investment portfolio (outside of super) it was his enthusiasm that made me decide to have a flutter. I was into the market before but quit about a decade ago as it was taking my attention away from my family.

but that’s just the background.

last week I suggested to my son to research WTB and I gave him my synopsis of why I believe this to be a magnificent investment

tonight, I asked him what his thoughts were

he said, dad..I totally understand your enthusiasm as to the technology but until I can get confirmation as to the customer’s it’s not appealing to me as no real revenue is forthcoming

of course, I explained to him the underlying need of this tech and the benefits it will have but when he said..dad, just tell me..you say they are well progressed in partnerships with XTX and Sien...so tell me, what does that mean?

I couldn’t answer..my son stumped me after 1 week researc to which I’m very proud.

I will of course respect his decision to hold until commercialisation and partners are established but that does not influence the reason to which I invested. It is cheap given the short term announcements forthcoming

just let’s dad be both proud that my son does good research and that I can soon tell him..I told you so son
