Its not only air travel that should be banned, any un-necessary movement of people should be severely curtailed, and everyone should stock up, or at least have a month's supply (as some did for the millenium) with nutritious foods, soups, nuts, water, dried fruit and fruit juice as buying products touched by people who are infectious is just as dangerous, and if you get the flu, as anyone who has had a really bad dose knows, liquids are the only foods one can stomach, and soups and fruit juices are the easiest to prepare. Perhaps we should adopt the Japanese custom of wearing masks when these diseases are around. Just my 10c worth!!
