yeah they have medical stockpiles and are gearing up national labs to quickly pump out vaccines for health care workers, doctors and high risk groups.
Behind the scenes there is a lot of research and computer modelling going on to be ready for various possible strains and even methods in controlling it before a breakout even occours - ie vaccines for domestic bird flocks ie chickens etc - domestic pultry industry
