    Unfortunately it will fall on many deaf ears & you can bet that if or when rates go up after the election in the new year the die hards will undoubtedly try to blame Rudd even though he just got in.
    Rudd getting in is all but done, I bumped into a guy I worked with 20 years ago who came from a relatively well off family & a very commited Liberal, we had some very spirited debates back then but he was a really nice & we got along well. I nearly fell over today when he told me he was going to vote for labor, I put my hand on his forehead joking & he replied I don't know who these guys are anymore but they're not what the Liberals used to stand for.
    I knew then that if someone so commited to a cause has now turned his back on Howard it is all but over.
    Naturally I could be wrong, we will soon see.
