    Good article, being a small business owner in the manufacturing industry I can relate to some of the points.
    my employees already realise things are tough they know that the stimulus wont reach us as they didn't use it as they were supposed to. They spent it all right mostly on alcohol and paying off credit card over the holidays.(factory poll for you poll lovers)
    We are in the window furnishings industry and like most small manufacturers were closed when the last stimulus package came out. My reps who deal with the retail public have not had anybody say that this money was from the stimulus package. They have asked.
    I do have good employees some have taken holidays some have gone onto casual hours as they realise we all have to do our bit itll the recovery comes and it wont be on the back of handouts and pink bats (which aren't the most effective way of insulating and cutting heating and cooling costs.)
    Ps I have paid alot of tax as well.
