    We should be careful not to jump to a simple socialist response.
    If you want employment you need employers.
    However we must also realize that the employer is not doing it for the employees benefit.
    That is generally just a by product of expansion.
    When the employer expands sufficiently he automates and reduces his employees in order to maximize profits.
    Nothing wrong with that as the employer has taken all the capital risks and generally has grafted to get to a level of some comfort.
    One thing I do agree with is that people view his success at the richest part of the journey and not the beginning.
    Clap trap was a tad harsh Eagle. If you were in the army I reckon you would march in circles...left...left...left.

    I do think the employer is more worried asbout his business going belly up than the poor employees though.
    If he was dinkum why not give the business to his employees rather than shut it down and see how they go. He can phone in once a week was his beach shack to see if they need any advice.
