I wouldn't think Dram will be made obsolete. not with its endurance in the trillions. but we would possiblly need a lot less of it due to reram with 4ds metrics as reported so far. DM gave updated read speeds in the latest podcast interview (from 27 to 9), i noted he didn't claim higher endurance than what has previously been reported of 3 billion r/w cycles. one thing I'm curious about....if the test for endurance was to perform a read/write cycle and this cycle was 27+27=54 nano sec, then it would take 162 days to perform 3 billion cycles. but it was a matter of only a couple of few weeks of testing before they announced this. be good to know a lot more than i do.
