Perhaps Dreamworld might come back but possibly under a different ownership structure, different management and perhaps even different company. This existing AAD company could be in its "dead cat bounce" days.
U do not get ur capital back if the company goes under but the site, in this case DW, can be reopened after a corporate restructure. Just ask AEJ sholders, AEJ, the old Alinta Energy, called Redbank Energy or something for a time, is now suspended from the ASX.
If AAD was suspended from the ASX under ur Malaysian Airlines example, sholders would not see any capital returning whatsoever and would have to consider Class Actions.

A bit far fetch predicting the downfall of AAD, yes for sure it has an impact this year and the next
and the outcome are a little uncertain but it will survive, how much money it makes in 18-24 months you would have a clearer picture
but no way down the same path as airlines
