Yes I do agree with your thoughts about Islam.
I grew up in London during the 60’s-70’s.
    My own experience was.

The people coming from the colonies, mainly Afro Caribbean, were a breath of fresh air.
They were my school mates, my neighbours, my friends.
Never had I encountered such happy friendly people before.

I knew Brixton very well. I lived near there for a while and had a boyfriend there.
Most of us, of all races got along very well.
We embraced their music in particular.

Imo a lot of the problems which I saw were caused by probably National Front supporters.
It crept up slowly. A great number of police were extremely racist.
They were known for arresting people for what was commonly known as suss.
Such a hard time they gave these people, most of who had done nothing wrong.
Just arresting them on SUSpicion of ????
So then these people felt very victimised and fought back.

Now the Indians and Pakistanis who I met, were really hardworking and polite.
A lot of them bought the old corner shops and kept them open until late at night.
Their kids worked in there, I got on well with them.
But some of the ignorant white young lads.
Formed a new sport, which they charmingly called Paki Bashing.
Most of these guys were skinheads wearing bovver boots.
They would go into London at night and start violent fights.
    It was awful.

But now it is the people who follow the Islam faith.
I cannot see a happy ending here as the police are pathetic and woke.
The government have their own agenda, as I think we are all aware.
So anger is building up to boiling point now.
    Very scary times ahead.

I do particularly remember Enoch Powells river of blood speech.
Many Afro Carribeans came over in good faith and worked as nurses, bus and train drivers.
By this time, they dearly wanted to return to their beautiful homelands.
But most were not in a good enough financial position to go back.
