Pagan/ism is a label (derogatory in intent) used to describe people who do not believe in the messages peddled by the fraudsters (religeous folk) in order to undermine their potential influence and thus prop up the income stream flowing to them.
The world in general is good at applying labels to folk particularly when attempting to caste them as sinister and abnormal in order marginalise their influence. Examining the message and scrutinising the facts is the last thing that is considered when casting aspersions and applying labels.
p.s. I enjoy a good fairy story and escape from it all tale but I have the intelligence to know they are not real and are for momentary enjoyment only.
