Atheism being the non thinking mans religion is a little harsh. Following the herd (whichever herd one is born into) requires far less thinking.
BTW if an atheist is someone that does not believe in the 'gods' that have been served up to us to date then yes I confess to being one. My post re hoax and fraud was inspired by the various propoganda posts we have been subjected to in recent times and was an attempt to get folks to question the basis of what was being served up from the various quaters.
But, as frankiedee says, as long as they don't stop me drinking beer................:))
