On the extremely slim chance they can't get the gas out, where would that leave them then? No gas and no money to farm into or pursue anything else. That is sound practice in protecting the holders that would be left with nothing.
On the other hand though, this makes sense of the large sum dumps over the last 3 weeks. It is only an opinion but it would seem somebody has taken a sound profit with the full knowledge of getting back in cheaper on the raise. I do with the ASX could sort this out as it has influenced my holdings recently for the worse!
I guess the proof will be in the announcement. Will i get a bite of the cherry? will it be for sophisticated investors at a rate cheaper than market?
Lets not jump to conclusions and look at it (for the time being) as a responsible protection of investor holdings.
