this is one part of the problem, people have now realised that the past years bullish lending has allowed stocks and assets to rise. if such practices are brought into place, bullish lending would be reduced dramatically and even though it is more secure it would lead to much more conservative growth which if so, these companies and assets would not offer great returns or at least sustained returns as previously.... so.... why should they be worth so much "good will"..... wo.... discount their price and..... that's right "get out of the market".
Sort of like having a situation where people getting sick and vomiting and dizzy from fun parks make a big fuss, causing all the fun parks will be overhauled to make sure rides do not have the potential to "negatively effect emotions"..... why would you go there anymore. They only worked well because they induced negative emotions.
We are now seeing that as humans we cannot control the situations we create to provide investment classes that offer continual returns so most are saying, why keep money in them, and why trust governments and banks to fix them if they weren't smart enough to control the situation in the first place.
I think we need a mass culling of the human population and start again.
