Retska, I made the point about software in Australia because I ended up going off shore for both software and brokerage(futures) after a fair bit of effort with the local people. The software available in Australia just didn't meet my needs and broker commission isn't competitive. Good software, quality data feed/s and and low commission seem to be hard to come by in oz as a package and if you can get them they are very expensive. Those factors also make a big difference to the bottom line so they are high on my priority list.

Appreciate the recommendation but I am happy with who I use after my own research.
