Just to keep the ball rolling here is a screen dump of my trading desktop. It is actually 4 monitors worth so if you divide it up into quarters horizontally, you can see what I have on each screen. My two outer screens show simple 2 min charts so I can see what is happening worldwide with a single glance. The charts are grouped loosely into Forex commodites and indicies. The two middle screens are my trade screens. I have left the charts blank as the time frames and stuff displayed changes depending on what I am doing. Like most half decent charting packages, Ninja Trader allows window linking so you can see most of the windows on the trade part of my screens are linked (red box in window bar). If I select a market in any one of those windows, all the others change.

I'm also running a virtual desktop program (virtuawin) so all distractions like email, hotcopper, msn, news etc are on other virtual desktops. The clocks are generated using a program called Qlock and my system clock is synced every half hour to ensure my data is displayed correctly. The last thing on my trading desktop is a news event schedule addon that shows upcoming economic data releases and shows a countdown timer to the event so I don't get caught with my pants down around big news events.

I know some will think this is information overload but one of the bonus's of having many markets displayed is the ability to watch interaction between markets. For example, the EU bonds can lead a move in Dax and foot futures. As I mentioned in my first post, price can also be an indicator, even if it's from a different market. Another market starting to move before the one I'm trading has saved my butt a few times.

P.S. Photobucket shrunk the screen dump a bit.
