There are few more unimpressed with pommy iron than I but a B was the first car I hit 100 MPH in. I was happy to lift the foot immediately, it was scary [I had just done the tune-up, had to test drive it]. But whatever floats your boat:
Just remembered: MG dashboards tended to be symmetrical, ie the instruments and glove box could be changed. I think this convenience extended under the bonnet, but the need to convert is no longer with us.
