Child abuse has just changed from outside to inside.
No child plays outside any more. Watching TV or computer games are the new creed. Keep munching those "goodies" and dad will get a pizza or maccas for dinner.
All a result of the "stranger danger" IMHO, not all maybe, but a great percentage.
Schools have taken over by exercising the kids regularly.. seen classes take walks together.. 4 teachers to "protect" them.
We used to play whenever we could outside and in holiday periods we were not seen from dawn till dusk.
