Zero technical knowledge, so I struggled with LTA's argument. Sounded persuasive though - I might sell out and cop the loss.

Right.

30 top COP guys on the job. A bumper and mtc. Flow rates that exceeded the capacity of the equipment. World class source rocks. You know the rest.

Junior oiler talking itself up? It's an interesting proposition. Firstly, to what end? I don't see any evidence of shares being dumped; in fact quite the contrary. And just who are these fraudsters? Reg Nelson? Forty-odd years in the business and highly respected in the industry. Cath Norman? A 10-year CEO. Gordon Ramsay? I mean, come on.

Given the statements (and elephant trunk) on the public record - and Cath's latest was on her professional LinkedIn profile - these eminent Australians would face jail time if SNE turns out to be a crock. Clearly they will have misled the market.

I'm not saying success is a certainty, and perhaps some of LTA's observations might yet be correct. But if they are, it will be pure fluke because on his own admission there is simply not enough information on which to make realistic appraisals. LTA is tilting at windmills. FAR and the JV are resolutely sticking to their advice to markets that SNE2 met expectations.

And we all know they were high.

Roll on Tuesday night. And fingers crossed Cairn provides some meaningful information.
