As a cardiologist I can see the ventrassist is a great device, but lots of competition. There a few articles on www.theheart.org.
My impression is that the need for these devices is decreasing with new medical therapy including biv pacing. Last I looked local transplant rates are down. I am not sure why local centres arent using ventrassist more. I suspect they have limited access to it. I will try and get a bit of general coal face info and pass it on.
