I remember the time when we used to install Oracle 6.0 from 60 floppy disks. If the 59th disk was corrupted the installation stopped and you had to get a fresh copy and reinstall from disk 1. Yes, our generation had patience, understood the meaning of taking a deep breath and knew the difference between a black and white monitor and color.
