I thought the gentleman who most vehemently and forcefully stated that Purcell was a liar was going to do a “Tom Cruise” and jump up on the table. Pursell was like a stunned Barramundi, nodding, smiling, obviously with disbelief that some one in a public forum would call him a liar .
This outburst came in response to Pursell’s attack on Richard Campbell. Must have hit a nasty nerve, probably justifiable as this gentleman called Purcell a liar for at least 2 minutes. It is extremely interesting to note that no one went near Pursell. He stood alone. None of the other directors came to his defence or assistance. Maybe they knew that the truth was being spoken.

I and my friends fully expected this man to be escorted out of the meeting as Duncan had done with dissenters at previous AGMs and EGMs.

Pursell said nothing about the verballing on him, but amazingly never disputed him either, so it seems the statements must have an aura of truth. Pursell was so shocked that someone should actually stand up to him. Interesting that.

I and my friends reckon that this guy has a few things to tell, particularly as he has so publicly challenged Pursell’s running of this company. We hope ASIC can get hold of him and find out what the details are. We do not know who he is but Pursell was gone like a hare after the meeting.

If his accusations were false, Pursell will have to bring charges against him. BUT, if the accusations are TRUE, then Pursell will not want to give him the opportunity to reveal the full details about the basis for these accusations in a law court. We all are aware of the apparent deception (Summervale etc) , cover-ups, the incompetent running of the company, particularly with respect to Bullabulling’s missing gold, the questions that have not been answered properly about this and about the collapse of the deal with CRR as well. Then there is the apparent buying of votes with backyard deals with New Age and Gold Pride, and much, much more.

It seems that never has such a reaction been seen in JRV's time in Melbourne and they are still in shock. Duncan and his mates must have gone too far. (Bantry, D's thick hide originates from his African days)

Congratulations to this gentleman who has had the guts to have 'called' Pursell.

Duncan has been placed in a position now where he must either legally respond and have all revealed - or resign!
