Martian - many thanks for the color and appreciate your perspective. point blank - there can be no asset purchase of the type you mention. any purported transaction would need a shareholder vote (under materiality clause given lack of other business), and i - and basically every other shareholder - would kick out the board before allowing this to happen. Meridian simply doesn't have enough shares to make this happen.

remember also that we could also simply vote down the remuneration package at the next AGM (in June) and roll the entire board too...
