An opinion of sorts...

The threat of a recent 249d has been averted, the subject in question has resigned but his
intended replacement was not accepted by management who subsequently filled the vacant
position with their own appointee......
One might say it's a win for the challenger and a face saver for management......
Nevertheless a potential toxic situation has been quelled for now and there is news
of a fresh project at home rather than us exploring godforsaken places around the
world in the quest for riches that for whatever reasons never seem to eventuate...
In this case, the 249d issuers, the Keens and Erb have done a mighty job, make no
mistake this action has cost them financially as well as in time and effort but more
importantly their efforts have managed to establish a dialogue with management
where shareholder sentiment is now conveyed directly to head office and can't
be ignored.......Management have had a whipping of sorts and should now be
given time to address this sentiment and improve company performance whilst
being still on notice.....
Let's focus on our next project being successful and leave the personalities out
of it until we get an idea of how much of shareholders concerns influence
management in their future decisions....
Let's not make the Keens and Erbs' efforts inconsequential by overeactive
activism at this early stage of change....
