re: an opinion ...blue griffin Yes ROC has been sniffing around that part of the world (near China, etc) and have in the past indicated an interest in gaining credibility with China. Not sure if they're interested in the Phillipines, though if the proposal stacks up (at much lower than current oil prices) I would imagine they could be interested.
They have, however, more recely indicated that they were potentially going to invest more in west africa and they also partly own and have an option over some Nth Sea assets that need development.
