Seems the update put out by ZEO has been misunderstood or misread..why else would such a great announcement be so trashed.
So in the interest of clarity....the takeout for shareholders is simply this: THE METHANE OXIDISATION TECHNOLOGY WORKS full stop. In simulated waste dump conditions the Zeotech (patent pending) product is oxidising 70/80% of methane emissions. That is a massive and unique achievement. Phase B (the validation stage) is formally complete at the end of this month, 14 days. At that time the results outlined in the update are formalised. The data set is formalised.
The 'value' of methane emissions from all waste dumps in Australia, at a carbon equivalent credit value of $30 per tonne is ~$900,000,000 pa NINE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR!! It is clear that all waste dump operators have a massive liability, they will be forced to confront that.
Now, if ZEO captures just 10% of that, its income from ACCUs is $90,000,000pa, 15% is $135,000,000 and so on. ZEO owns the tech100%, the patent apps are global, one waste dump in the US is bigger that all the waste dumps in Australia put together...the opportunity is massive.
The waste dump operators will of course wait for formal validation, wont have to wait long...14 days. At that time ZEO is able to promote its technology as formally validated and ready for field work. With no other solution i believe there will no shortage of marriage proposals.
On another opportunity. The Australian cement industry (predominantly based in QLD) is about to experience massive change. It must abandon current manufacturing practice as it is too carbon intensive. Metakaolin will be used in future manufacturing. Ideal kaolin for metakaolin manufacture require an iron content of 1% or less, otherwise the kaolin has to be pre washed (expensive) to prevent discoloring in the cement. Those of you reading ZEOs announcements would be aware that Toondoons kaolin has an iron content of les than .5% (less than half of 1%) As i have said many times in this forum, there is no comparison for purity anywhere in Australia. ZEO has announced that major cement manufacturers are trialing Toondoon kaolin at this moment, and we are located right on their doorstep.!
