I truly believe Australians are seeing what Israel is really like and have turned against then in support of the Palestinian people that have been forced from their homes and lands.
Like many Australians I had sympathy for the Jewish people following what the Nazis did to them in WW2, however now I have learnt what the Israelis have done beginning in 1948 to the Palestinian people, which is well documented, they have shown themselves to be a brutal murderous race of people, that have employed the same genocidal methods on the Palestinians as the Nazis used on the Jews and others.
It should be noted that many Jewish people are against the Zionist ideology and are appalled by the treatment of the Palestinians.
