    Whatever the final counting outcome for Indi, Sophie Mirabella has made it one of the most marginal seats in Australia; long gone the days of 70% 2PP support and Lou Lieberman.

    Cathy McGowan's lead has fallen to just 759 votes with some 6000 postal votes still to be counted. They are likely to continue to favour Mirabella;

    If Mirabella scrambles back that will not be the end of the story. As I pointed out on other threads, she has been in the spotlight in Indi for all the wrong reasons.

    "... She [ie. Sophie Mirabella] and her allies have been accused this year of meddling in the Wangaratta council. ..."
