You have no idea what they will get... Although we can look at history and see what they got over the last 12 years! ... not much really.
Tell me something... since Indi is historically a liberal electorate, what does Tony Abbott have to LOSE by supporting some of the things McGowan wants, delivering a bit to Indi and showing that he can work WITH the independents?
That's right - NOTHING!
Tony Abbott actively working WITH McGowan to deliver for Indi would be an incredibly astute political move.
I would say his advisers are telling him as much right now.
