A basic analysis of the announcements made by BLG, reflect the current drop of the SP. In 2014, 42 announcements were published on the ASX, 2 of which were technology related. Of those 2, one boils down to "we've turned on a machine". The other was the infamous "10x brighter" announcement 03/07/14. This announcement was laughed at by some of my tech savvy peers.
Most of the announcements were related to shares changing hands.
To sum up, it appears that 2014 passed with virtually no technology progress, despite what appears to be a significant capital expenditure.
Based on the published figures, I'm still tipping a CR in Q1 2015, which will have the usual hot-air announcements in the lead-up. It would be refreshing to see a shake up of the staff and management. The original crew parted ways with BLG, and the "new" BLG team seem to be hell bent on wasting our money on attempts to compete with established contract wafer foundries.
