My thoughts - SAS changed plans to global due to delays from VO and the new plan would of been more affordable and got satellites up in space by the end of the year making more money and fastest way to being self sufficient. Then come back and do the Pearls makes sense.
Unfortunately the timing was all wrong for this change of plan which has landed us in the situation we are in now.
I would say two directors disagreed with the change of plans due to timing of only just finishing a CR.
This has lead to people losing confidence in SAS and wanting there money back.
If people were not wanting there money back they would have enough money to complete the launch and the company would be a huge success.
In my opinion it will be difficult to do another successful CR right now to raise the shortfall that SAS will now have due to withdrawal of funds. They will need to seek alternative financing to make it happen. This in turn will cause further delays while money is sort, so I would think instead of having satellites up late 2019 it will now be 2020.
Getting alternative finance will be the greatest challenge. If they succeed you can still expect this company to be a huge success.
The sentiment of the company is at an all time low which is a huge challenge for Mier to turn around. I hope he can and wish him success in doing so.
A lot of people on hear just talking complete nonsense and spreading the negativity is not helping but this will not stop.
If SAS fails it is due shareholders panicking and not Mier, his vision and dream remains the same.
All this is my opinion.
