Haha, 3 vaccinations and 52 years of searching. Yes, there are several hypotheses about the origin of the mutation and how it moved around the world...though I don't think anyone really knows for sure. As Professor Xavier would say "It's a very groovy mutation".
It's fascinating to see the directions being taken in medicine these days. We have great hopes for the work being done by Mesoblast. It's odd though because up until a few months ago, we had our eyes firmly on the trials, especially those done with the GVHD children and now, quite suddenly there is all this turmoil and heightened expectation (and volatility) revolving around our association with Covid-19, when the reality is that we have at least a decade of solid work (and investing) that was coming to fruition this year, right here, right now.
