As others have pointed out, hopefully this is unlikely and hopefully will not be allowed to occur regardless.
IF it did there is a difference between cash and a script offer. A cash offer would trigger a GCT event and you would need to pay the CGT. A script offer should be engineerable to defer the GCT liability until you sell them...
