Great posts on Yahoo regard ing steroids and rem-L if anybody concerned...

@real Techfan20, I agree. Today's announcement about Dexamethasone is pretty much a nothing burger... we know a lot of the rem-L patients will have already gotten steroids because they have elevated inflammatory markers and that's when steroids are often tried... Rem-L is being positioned to treat patients at the end of the line... AFTER they have failed on any vaccine, anti-viral (ie remdesivir and others), antibiotic, anti-shock vasopressor, anti-coagulant, anti-JAK receptor inhibitor, anti-IL-6 mAb, any anti-GSF mAb or any vitamin they want to try... because next, yes, you'll be hearing that vitamin A, C, D, E and X Y Z can save SOME patients. Maybe a few, but not ALL patients. These failing treatments all get equalized by the randomization... equal numbers get placebo plus a steroid, equal numbers get rem-L plus a steroid. Announcements like we heard today have little impact on the phase 3 trial actively underway. The fact that these treatments all have failures is precisely why the world needs rem-L and why we're here talking about it.

47 days into the trial. we are getting close. the steroid news is kind of ironic since the failure of steroids has always been the benchmark for remestemcel use.

Dexamethasone is a steroid and currently used for GVHD. Remestemcel-l is was proven to work on steroid-refractory aGVHD. Restated, on cases where steroids FAIL. Just like GVHD, remestemcel-l is needed for when steroids fail for ARDS. Remember, Mesoblast went after steroid-refractory aGVHD because too many people were dying and Mesoblast showed it could save a lot of them. As we see, this pattern repeats in todays announcement Dexamethasone only saved 1 out of 8 on ventilator. Mesoblast can save a lot of them. Treatment options for ARDS sure looks a lot like GVHD.

Dexamethasone to remstemcel ..sound familiar . Graft host disease or covid . Have a feeling we are not going to have to wait till September to get our nod from fda

Dexamethasone trial reported good results. Posting this since someone on the board mentioned pills might not work. Still long MESO but thought it was important for us to keep track of main competition

Dexamethasone reduced deaths vs placebo by roughly 1/3 but we see 80% in remstemcel in open label. Got to think our MOA is strongly validated by this study . I smell early termination of current study with release for emergency use in Covid

Market up on positive impact of steroid protocol for ARDS due to Covid at least positive based on previous treatments. This has to help MESO Science for the sickest and validate the value of their MOA. For these sickest patient.
