As a shareholder in Neo Metals I have to agree they are kicking goals and the share price has reacted accordingly (albeit it is a bit down at the moment). I can't however see the synergy with AUZ in terms of the direction NMT is pursuing - they have also given no indication they are interested in mining.

Guthrie has been on the AUZ Board - he has a good CV, the question is as interim CEO is he going to achieve anything he could not influence as a board member. I appreciate the role of Board members is not to actually manage a company but rather to provide direction and oversight for what management are doing - presumably he has been doing this particularly in relation to the pursuit of funding.

Clearly in the current circumstances BB could not retain his position but is not a great time for AUZ to be out looking for a new CEO with the LG deadline looming, no funding in place and a cash burn that will require a CR in the near future - but at least Guthrie appears to have the CV to hold down the fort and hopefully progress things until they find a suitable candidate.
