i think people need to stop obsessing over horizontal wells
If TXN drill a spectacular vertical well with plenty of follow up ones in the same area its going to make the discussion of "horizontal make or break" a completely pointless exercise.
Its not TXNs only game and I would hope they wouldnt keep draining their cash flows to fund them if the flow rates aren't up to scratch. I would say if they cant get it right on the first three, a farm out will be on the cards - if they can get it
if potential farm in partners dont like the data/geology coming out of the first wells it was never going to be important to TXN unless they sent the company broke with an exercise in futility
