Analysis

Some of the key criteria I’ve been using when assessing the prospects of the various companies in the Fraser Ranges and how Segue stacks up are as follows:

Company Communication – Segue gives regular in detail announcements and also happy to answer shareholder questions as shown on here so I would rate that highly

Whose doing the exploring / analysis – Segue has Newexco and OmniGeoX on board – both whom have proven to make discoveries and are experts in this field as well as Nickel Exploration. In my opinion this is a huge plus. With OmniGeoX - they have recently become involved and must surely be optimistic to find something. These companies pride themselves on discoveries so I would guess they’d do their due diligence on who they work with to maximize the chances of success.

Share Price trend – The trend looks good despite today’s small correction. It has shown a rise of around 100% over the last 3 months with strong recent buyer activity despite more shares coming on to the market. There is also good resistance at the moment all the way down to the 0.008 level.

Large Shareholder Backing – Segue have Acorn Capital on board who put in more money recently and various large shareholders also have a large quantity of shares in Escrow.

Sentiment – Reading over the comments on here and what is being said in the market (Next Big Small Cap, The Pick), the sentiment is generally very positive.

Land Area – Whilst land area may be one measure (of which Segue scores highly), you could have a huge area and nothing of value in it, so I’ve broken it down as follows:

    - Do they have “Eye’s”? – This is crucial as this is the sort of feature that Nova was based in. You could argue that the E21 target – the ‘game changer’ - looks like an oversized eye and also on closer inspection various other targets are in an eye esque shape (whilst I appreciate this might not be scientific, looking similar is often a good sign!). They of course have 16 ‘eye’ targets they have identified and numerous EM Indicators.

    - Location of Tenements – Segue’s main tenements all fall within the Fraser Range Zone – where Nova was found. They have similar geographical characteristics to the Nova Structure – Fraser Range Gravity High, Rock Type, Terrain, Bedrock indicators etc.

Money – Segue has just completed an oversubscribed SPP so have money in the bank to fund exploration.

Obviously still a risky investment so DYOR and GLTA. All my own opinions so I’m happy to be corrected! Disclosure - I own Segue Shares.
