The thing i know that the herd doesnt, is that the herd always over-react, simply because when your part of the herd you cant see the big picture, you cant have perspective.
The average difference between a stocks high and low in any year is 38% IIRC, and fundamentals dont change that much, so a lot of it has to be over-reaction.
And as they say the market is driven by fear and greed; ive never heard anyone claim its driven by logic or fairness...
I think its simply 'stacks on' VOC, if the market sees a weakness it will push it as hard as it can, if they have an effect it pushes harder. It just snowballs. As long as the things pushing it down dont effect long term fundamentals that im not concerned.
