Analyst Research: Initiating coverage on Lake with a BUY rating and a fair value estimate of $0.44 per shareAugust 15, 2018 Investment Highlights Lake Resources is developing a portfolio of three lithium brine projects, and one hard rock project in Argentina, totaling approximately 181,250 ha. The projects are potentially extensions of producing and advanced stage brine lithium development projects, held by majors such as SQM (NYSE: SQM), Orocobre Limited (ASX: ORE), Lithium Americas Corporation (TSX: LAC), and near FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC) and Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB). None of LKE’s projects have been previously drilled. In late 2017, LKE commenced its first drill program on the Kachi project, with an initial resource estimate expected in October 2018. Kachi’s land package covers the lowest point of drainage from a large catchment area of over 5,000 sq. km. Results of the first eight holes have been released – the best hole returned 306 mg/L lithium over 300m. The drill program also showed low impurities, positive chemistry, and a low average Mg/Li ratio of 4.3. The Company expects to commence drilling its Olaroz / Cauchari projects in the coming weeks.
