I don't understand how dusk is able to do so well because I don't think the product is anything special. It's a luxury non essential consumable, with little barrier to entry. With the prouds comparison, it's better than jewellery because it's a consumable.
But the business seems to have done really well so far and even during the pandemic when you think people would stop buying non essentials the primary factor which affected sales was lockdowns not change in consumer attitude.
