Incredible. I watched the first hour of trade in Canada last night. Very ugly opening. Down 25% and a low of $2.60 and we settled around C$2.80-$3.00. TSX quickly fell over 400+ points. So I go to bed hoping we won't close lower than C$2.90.

Instead we closed up 4.97% up $0.18 to $3.80 on volume of 181.15k. Copper plummets to US$2.54. The TSX down a massive 807.33 points. First Quantum down 5.09% Equinox down 11.71%.

I am completely flummoxed. Has the short traded stock reduced enough to finally allow buyers to move the price upwards? There still is quite a bit of stock shortened. Is there a new analyst report out that seriously undervalues Anvil? Have analysts recognised that our low cost production shelters us against the fall in the price of copper, compared to other producers?

To swim against the red king tide last night was nothing short of amazing. We rarely ever do that particularly on such a horrible trading day. Any thoughts?
