its being botted a lot
just assume the 70% of the bid/ask is computer generated noise and youll be fine
what youll also notice with the bots is they position for the night in new york
technically USD gold is way overbought short term - normally it should pull back -0 and thats what i think triggered the bot selling to 25c
but the late shenanigans on Shanghai comp and maybe oil market could push things higher tonight.
the big uissue will be USD - in v short term it would be natural for USD to rise vs Yuan etc again tonight - so id guess USDgold will be up and down from as much as 101 to 110 a few times potentially
