The company, us shareholders and the community of Greymouth owe these 29 miners so much. They paid the ultimate price in the pursuit of making PRC a successful mine.
If the NZ authorities just close down the mine, it would be an even bigger tragedy as they would have died in vain and PRC would end a failure.
Lets hope that they can put aside their "green wishes" for a moment and realise that the only safe way they can mine this area is with an open cast mine.
By allowing this, they would make the PRC mine a monument for those that died rather than a graveyard.
