    Two graphs: why the crash was inevitable
    This graph shows 150 years of US stockmarket price and earnings growth indexed to inflation. Earning grow steadily compaired, but prices are volatile.....


    ...sometimes earnings are cheap, sometimes expensive but only the foolish were buying at the historically absurd PEs of 2000.
